My Story
I started photography at a young age, certainly before I was 10. My dad was a wedding photographer for a period of time and has always been a bit of a pro photographer in my eyes. Luckily for me I got brought up around this and so I also took an interest in photography.
I never used to focus my photography, I'd just bring my camera most places and just shot whatever. When I was around 13, I started to realise the lengths of automotive photography which combined my two favourite things and so that's what I knew I wanted to do.
Going to different events locally, mainly Goodwood stuff, I started practicing my automoive photography. I eventually liked enough of my photos that I started my Parkers Photography Instagram page and then this website and blog.
That's my story so far! Let's hope there's many more years to come!
MY BLOG
Why did I start a blog?
When launching my instagram page, I realised that a lot of other automotive photographers have blogs. I read through a few and realised that it was just the sort of thing that I'd love to have a go at myself. I did some research and I figured that having a full website that I could eventually expand into an online store/brand. After writing my first couple of pieces, I knew that I enjoyed writing about something I'm so passionate about so the blog is definitely here to stay. It will inevitably evolve over the years, hopefully I can invite people to write a piece for my blog every now and again but who knows where this will take me!
Other Writers
When creating my blog, I always hoped that other people would want to come and write. If I have friends that are interested in writing then I try my best to get them in and write about what they're passionate about!
